How to Use Repairit (IS) - Photo Repair on Mac

You can repair photos of various formats on Mac easily with the following steps, no matter how seriously your photos were corrupted. Repairit can also fix various photo corruption issues like pixelated photos, grey areas, wrong coloring, and more.

Step 1. Load corrupted photos.

Use the add feature to add the impaired photos to the interface. All mainstream photo formats, including JPEG, JPG, CR3, CR2, NEF, NRW, RAF, DNG, ARW and GPR are supported to be repaired by Repairit.

Now you can view the detailed information of the repaired photos, including their thumbnail, File Size, File Path, Photo Resolution, etc.

Step 2. Repair photos.

Click on the button of "Repair", then Repairit will start to repair your corrupted photos.

Step 3. Preview and save the repaired videos.

After your photos are fixed successfully, you will see a pop on the window, just click "Ok".

Here you can preview the repaired photo, if you are satisfied with the photo quality, please click "Save" to load the photo on the native interface.

If you don't satisfied with the photo quality or the repair process failed, please choose "Advanced Repair" instead. you can see the option at the bottom section of the application on the Preview window. Besides, you can start advanced photo repair after loading corrupt photos in the first place.

Step 4. Add sample photo to repair.

To perform the Advanced Photo Repair process, you have to load a sample image. Click "add " option to browse and load the sample picture. Please remember that the sample photo should have the same format as the corrupted photo and shot on the same device as well.

After that, click the "Repair" button to perform the Advanced Photo Repair, kindly wait for a while as it may take more time than the standard process.

Step 5. Preview and save the repaired photo.

After the advanced photo repairing process is over, you can also preview the repaired photo on Repairit. Therefore, if you are satisfied with the repaired photo quality, please click the "Save" button and choose a location to save it.
